About Post : The Staff Selection Commission has issued a notification for SSC CHSL Examination 2026 is one of the most popular vacancy for 12th pass students. Interested and eligible candidates apply for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination from 07 September 2026 to 7 October 2026. SSC has released recruitment to various Group C posts in Central Government departments and offices.

This Examination will be conducted in two tier, and candidates who qualify the selection stages can be appointed to posts such as Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

SSC CHSL Examination 2026 Selection Process

Tier-I Examination 

  • Tier-I is computer based examination, candidates are shortlisted for Tier-II based on their performance in Tier-I.
  • Normalized Scores are used for merit & shortlisting of candidates.
  • SSC may fix separate category-wise cut-offs for different posts.
  • Minimum Qualifying marks for Tier-I
  • UR: 30%
  • OBC/EWS: 25%
  • All other categories: 20%

Tier-II Examination 

  • Candidates who cleared Tier-I are eligible for Tier-II examination.
  • All candidates Must appear in all 4 sections of Tier-II.

Skill Test & Typing Test 

  • Skill test for data entry operator is mandatory for qualified candidates.
